Description:
This is a William W. Marston, New York 1857 patent, 3 barrel 22 cal knife pistol. The model with the spear point dagger. The frame is engraved. The brass frame is a medium to light color. The barrels and knife are a light steel color with some light freckled pitting. The mechanism, which is often broken, is completely functional on this specimen. The frame and barrel are serial 909. The blade has no serial. Total production of these 22 cal Marstons is about 1500, with about 500 having the spear point dagger. The markings are good, as is the engraving.
