Africa proven. African built. Stock by Cloward. Metal by Roy Vincent. Cartridge by Roy Vincent. Based on the 404 Jeffery case, this cartridge is on a standard Mauser action. Same length as 458 Winchester but 300 fps faster. 2400 fps with 500 gr. bullet. 24 inch Shilen barrel. Barrel band sling swivel, 4 panel bolt checkering, checkered steel grip cap. Nicely figured European walnut stock, totally bedded with secondary recoil lug. Timney trigger. Cerocoat finish. Ghost ring back sight with white barrel band front. Very accurate and a proven stopper. Dies available and I use 404 Dakota cases. One pass through sizer and done. Worried about ammo? I can provide 40 rounds at your request. How much will you shoot a rifle like this? It's been to Africa twice. Still have 37 rounds. Stays zeroed so no need to sight it in.
