For Sale is a very clean representation of the Pre-64 Model 88 Winchester in, probably the most popular of the shooting calibers, 243 Win. The wood and the metal on this rifle are all above 95%. There is a small dent in the checkering on the right side of the stock by the lever. There is only slight wear on the drop magazine box. The bore is crisp and bright. Whoever had this one took care of it for keeps. I did not have to do anything to clean this baby up. In fact, it was so nice that I have kept it for several years, without ever shooting it. I ship USPS ground, so with insurance, I charge $45. I am a private collector and will be happy to answer any questions I haven't answered, as long as we keep the calls before 8PM CST. The price on this rifle has been cut by $150. Super clean 243 Pre-64 Mod-88.
