REDUCED 08/10 Perhaps the rarest of all presentation firearms are those from contemporary makers. While Sam Colt gave away hundreds of firearms for various reasons, those presentation guns from Uberti, Pietta, Armi-Jaeger, Buffoli, etc. are very, very rare. Dating from the mid 1970's this pair of 1860 Armys with the accompanying shoulder stock & casing were a presentation from Giuseppe Pietta of the Italian firm F. LLi. Pietta to Sandy Brygider. Both consecutively numbered guns are full coverage engraved with gold and bear the insctiption, inlaid in gold on the barrels, " Presented to Sandy Brygider from Giuseppe Pietta". Stock iron is also engraved to match and contemporary casing has bullet mold, nipple wrench, powder flask, etc. An exceptional pair of guns! Unfired since presented. Full provenance to purchaser. Would cost much more to duplicate today!
