Description:
Serial number on the bbl is unreadable. Serial number that is marked on the side of the lower tang is 1877. A rather rough old Henry. Someone cleaned the bbl and tried to add some metal to it in the hope of improvement. That didn't work. What does look relatively decent is the frame. Frame has been cleaned a long time ago also but it does have a relatively good looking patina. Some dings and scratches. Stock is of the early variety. Ill fitting to the frame but pretty much all there. Buttplate and screws have the assembly number 849. All Henry's are collectible and by golly this is a true Henry! Good for a starting collector.
