Description:
Similar to a Kentucky style rifle but with a shorter bbl. 34-1/2" bbl length and measures just shy of 1" at the muzzle. Cal about 44. From the muzzle you can see the old style very deep rifling which looks pretty good. Bbl was likely brown to start with and is now a very aged brown. Wood is dark and in good overall condition. No front sight with a dovetail. Rear sight is a more modern sight. Equipped with set trigger. Hammer springs are good. Trigger springs appear to work but does not stay back when cocked. Some tinkering needed there. Very nice brass furniture on this gun.
