#363, Brno Made In Czechoslovakia: A Model ZG47 Brno Mauser on their great Double Square Mauser action with dovetail flats to accommodate quick release scope mounts, Made in 1951, Custom 25" barrel in 270 Winchester barreled by Federal Firearms Co. Inc., Federal, Pa., They remain in business to this day and started there in 1958, No open sights, Double set triggers, Non-hinged floorplate, Matted receiver flats with dovetails, A Redfield 1 piece scope mount was installed on the top of the dovetail flats and drilled & tapped between the flats, The dovetails were not altered, Factory Brno stock, Sling swivel eyes on the stock, No pistol grip cap, 14 5/16" LOP over a 1" pad, 7 lbs. 4 oz., The bore is excellent plus. The ZG47 Mauser action is the best commercial post-war action you can buy. The great metalsmith, Mr. Tom Burgess, told me personally he thought it was the best action made in the post-war era.
