We are offering for sale an extremely rare Colt OFFICER’S MODEL Target Double Action Revolver chambered in .38spl caliber. This is a 3rd issue (last Pat. Date is October 5, 1926) Officer’s Model Target revolver with a rare 4” bare in an extremely rare NICKEL FINISH! This revolver is a 98% condition gun.
COLT COLLECTOR’S DREAM!
4” barrel is excellent retaining all of its original nickel finish; Bore is MINT. Barrel has adjustable front and rear sight. Gun has matching assembly numbers throughout. Full serial number can be seen inside crane, on crane and on the inside of the sideplate. Excellent crisp markings (MUST SEE!) are correct for a 4” barrel. Checkered nickel plated trigger and hammer; Checkered backstrap. Grip plates are genuine stag with great color and fit. Revolver appears like new and was fired very little, if at all. The only defect is a shallow dent on sideplate, just above the trigger. Gun comes with original period box that has unfortunately lost its label.
This is an extremely RARE Officer’s Model in seldom seen 4” barrel and nickel finish!!
