For your viewing from my shooting Buddy's estate is a Colt 1873 44-40 Frontieer Six Shooter that he used in cowboy action shooting with light loads. All numbers match, but no numbers inside of grips, but they look original to the revolver. Letter from Colt indicates that this revolver was shipped to ElPaso Texas in 1902 with a4 3/4"barrel. my buddy purchased it with the 7 1/2 " barrel and had it lettered. Ser. # is. 23XXX.
