I am reducing the size of my collection and am offering several fine examples of European guns. These guns were purchased by me while stationed in Germany.
Here is a stunning Royal exhibition piece from Heym. This Double has beautiful deep engraving from E. Boessler with many animals; Red Stag on the left, Wild Boar on the right and Auerhahn on the bottom. 12 Animals in all.
Tasteful wood carving on nice oiled stock. Ejectors. Double Trigger with the front being a set trigger. Engraved stock magazine.Perfectly matched Suhler Claw Mounts and Zeiss Diavari Z 2.5-10X52 with German No. 4 Reticle. The claw mounts alow you to remove the scope for travel and it always returns to zero.
This rifle has seen little to no use. It has spent most of it's life in the gunsafe. Wood and Blueing are in great condition. 7X65R caliber is perfect for North American Game. There are NO importer’s markings anywhere on the gun.
Today's value is in excess of $35.000.
There are others on the internet but not many are nicer and most are considerably more expensive.
This is truely a great value for an investment or just a beautiful gun to hunt with.
This is a fine example of a Heym Double. It will definately make some collector and shooter very happy.
