History and a gunsmith state that even before Detective Special manufacturing, PPS pistols had barrels shortened for easier carrying and concealment. This is a typical example. 69% of the finish is left on the gun. Light patiina is present and no pitting is visible. Markings are all visible. The black plastic grips have pieces missing on bottom. Bore is clean with strong rifling and lands. Cylinder and swingarm have very tight lockup. Pistol has not been fired but appears to function properly.
