U.S.A.: A Full Custom Pachmayr 25-06 on a Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Action, The action made in 1949, 24" Apex Match Grade Barrel without open sights, 2 panel teardrop bolt knob checkering, Built-up bolt stop release with checkering, Jeweled bolt and follower, Straddle hinged floorplate with a center bow release, Solid 1-piece bottom metal utilizing the typical 3-screw tiedown of the pre-64 but with the Model 70 magazine box inset into the bottom piece, Jeweled bolt and follower, A 3-position Model 70 safety, A Model 70 trigger, A pure Classic stock using a very nice piece of English Walnut with excellent black and brown contrast, Classic broken point pattern checkering, Cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Pachmayr grip cap, Pachmayr flush fit sling swivel bases with the sling eyes, 13 7/8" LOP over a 1" Pachmayr pad, 8 lbs. 9 oz., Overall the gun is in 96% condition on both the metal and wood since it left the Pachmayr shop in Los Angeles, The bore is as new. This is a doggone nice rifle with an excellent piece of wood with very nice workmanship.
