Browning BSS Sporter 12 gauge SxS shotgun. Made in 1980 this fine condition Sporter has 28” barrels, choke marked M/F (with actual constrictions of .010" /.010" IC/IC); and it has 2 ¾” & 3” factory chambers. Also it has a single selective trigger, beavertail forearm and straight/English grip stock. The stock dimensions are: 14 3/16” LOP to the Browning butt plate, 1 9/16” DAC and 2 3/8” DAH with slight right hand cast. The barrels retain 98% original blue, the receiver 96-97% with a few very light spots of surface rust on the bottom similar to a few spots on the trigger guard tang. The stock and forearm have 98% original satin finish. The gun weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz. The sporter models of the BSS are the most desirable and the hardest to find.
