Al Biesen Custom bolt action rifle. Built on the military Mauser G33/40 and chambered for 7mm Mauser (7x57). This is a stunningly beautiful rifle that was tastefully crafted by one of the best know custom rifle makers in the world. Everything about this rifle is well done. The stock is a very nicely grained walnut with a 3 panel checkering pattern on the grip, a ebony forearm tip, shadow line cheek piece, engraved grip cap and a Neidner style steel butt plate with hinged cartridge compartment and fabulous oil finish. The metal is finished in a dark deep blue. The barrel has the front sling swivel stud attached. The bolt, extractor and magazine follower have been “tightly” engine turned and the bolt knob has two panel checkering. There is a typical of Al Biesen Leupold VX II 2-7X36 scope mounted on Tilden mounts. The bore is bright and sharp. The barrel is 22” long, the overall length is 43” and the gun with scope weighs 8 lbs. 4 oz. This is a great rifle, in a great caliber.
