Colt, 1911A1, US ARMY, .45 ACP, MFG 1943, 5" bbl (High Standard MFG), bright shiny bore, good rifling, serrated mainspring housing and trigger, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" stamped on right side of frame, inspected by Army Inspector of Ordnance - Colonel Waldemer S. Brobers ("WB" inside rectangular box stamp on left side of frame), rework/repair/overhaul at the Springfield Armory ("SA" stamp on right side of frame), all parts are correct, checkered resin grips, and lanyard loop. This is a very nice pistol.
