Remington mdl 700 "Carbine" 20" bbl Cal. .222 Remington Magnum, Ser. 34XX.
A rare gun in a rare caliber and the first year of production. WOW.
The condition is super. The gun has about 96+% of the original factory blue. The loss is mainly on the trigger guard which has grayed.
The bolt is in the white with only a touch of negligible of graying.. All parts are proper to the gun. The front and rear sights are fully intact. The walnut stock retains 95+% of the original lacquer.. The only loss is on the left side where there are a couple of light surface rub marks.
There are no chips, cracks or splits anywhere.
The checkered wrist and forearm have no flattened points. The scope is a super nice Tradewinds TW-Vari 2-1/2x8. It is crystal clear and bright with well-defined crosshairs.
The bolt face, feed ramp and bolt rails show little use The bore is-mirror bright with razor sharp rifling, dare I say factory new.
Should be a real killer for very long range varmint hunting and paper blasting........REDUCED***$895***REDUCED
