Original Rosewood case for a Colt 1851 Navy Percussion revolver. Measuring 14 3/8 inches wide, 7 1/4 inches deep and 2 3/8 inches tall, this mahogany case is configured for a Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver. The exterior is unmarked, with a red cloth lining across the bottom panel and a blank inscription plate. American-style interior, with red felt lining and 6 internal compartments, which contain conical bullets, a 2-chamber brass mold with sprue cutter, an "L" shaped screwdriver/nipple wrench, original cleaning rod, two partial tins and one sealed tin of percussion caps, silver oiler can and a powder flask. The condition is fine, with mild chipping and scratches on the attractive varnished exterior. The interior is fine, with the top felt missing. It has mild rubbing wear, and a small amount of fading.
