Quality Consignments Wanted! This Colt was produced in 1926. The pistol's serial number is 48523. The barrel is the standard 6 inch barrel. The pistol has the ajustable front and rear sight. The Colt shows some light wear on the high points. The bore is bright and clean. The original grips diamond points are sharp and show very light wear. The pistol itself has seen light use and shooting. The original blue would rate a 97% overall condition. The grips would also rate the same. The magazine is the correct two tone style with the floor plate marked [ Cal. 22 Colt ]. This is a nice early Colt that pre dates being marked "The Woodsman". This was one of Colt's most popular models. Most of these early Colt's show much use and wear. This is a nice collectable grade pistol that would go well in any collection. These early Colt pistols should only be shot with standard velocity ammunition. The recoil springs were not designed for high velocity ammunition. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
