BISLEY MODEL IN DESIRABLE .44-40 CALIBER, 5 1/2" BARREL, MADE 1907, this one came out of Arizona (Bisleys were very popular in the Southwest), a much carried but taken care of revolver showing some honest holster wear to the metal at the left side of the muzzle, overall a dark patina with some very aged blue in the flutes of the ejector housing, on the cylinder and protected parts of the barrel and frame, front sight has not been filed, exc. screws, excellent markings including the "(BISLEY MODEL)" over "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side of the barrel, matching numbers in the 296XXX range, I assume the grips are not original as they are really nicely fitted birdseye maple, fine action, bore will clean about excellent, hard to find great caliber, I'm sure there are a lot of stories in this one!
