Webley Bulldog, Antique revolver mfg. aprox 1880's . Caliber .442 , 44caliber centerfire. 2 Inch barrel Silver plated Engraved. Factory engraved? could be. It has a nice bore and cylinder. Locks up fine with just a little wiggle as a gun 135 years would that shows wear. The silver plate is flacking as you can see. The grips are mother of pearl and are in very nice shape. The piece is numbered correctly , parts like the cyl numbered to the gun, Ser# 24711 . Its pictured in the Bulldog / solid frame revolver book of webley Bulldogs. The case and the bulldog were a marriage. The case is oak and surely made for a bulldog. Its oak and shows age and patina. tools included.Rare to find Engraved and silver plated .webleys.
