- Note: Here is an example of the historic WWII Liberator pistols manufactured by the Guide Lamp Division of GM in 1942. Of historical interest, the Guide Lamp Division was selected to handle the manufacturing of this pistol instead of Inland Division to conceal the project and its planned use. This is a fully functioning example with only apology: the original baseplate and clip are missing and a piece of aluminum plate has been put in its place.
