Marlin Model 1893 Factory 20 inch "Short Rifle".30-30. The serial number of this example is 1XX placing date of manufacture in 1893 a first week production rifle. Overall condition is very good to fine with mostly a faded original factory blue finish. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore has perfect rifling and is bright from breech to muzzle. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect with 60% original factory varnish remaining.
