Colt SAA Frontier Six Shooter .44-40 Win. This gun has the roll marked "Frontier Six Shooter". The bore is bright with good rifling, but does have a ring of corrosion from a stuck bullet. There is no bulge in the barrel. The cylinder ratchet appears in good shape and the timing is good. The cylinder lock appears to have some wear. Most of the screws have been boogered and the cylinder pin has been pliered. There is some external pitting on the barrel and the front of the frame. The frame has been wire brushed and we are not sure if it has been refinished as so little finish remains. The grips are worn , but not chipped or cracked. This gun appears to be all original parts.
