WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LEVER ACTION .45-70 CALIBER RIFLE CIRCA 1888. 26” round barrel stamped “MANUFACTURED BY THE/ WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.” and .45-70. Full length magazine tube. Original Winchester Model 1886 tang sight. Original nicely figured walnut stock with crescent butt plate. All original as re-barreled and re-bored. Handsome with frame a deep grey patina and the barrel and tube blue and patina mix. Wood lightly cleaned and with two brass star inlays. Perfect working order and bright, mint bore.
