Description:
For an immediate sale is this Steyr Mannlicher .270 Winchester Luxus Grade Bolt Action Rifle with an excellent Kahles Variable Scope. This rifle has a beautifully figured pistolgrip walnut stock with a rare and highly figured rosewood fore-end tip on the stock. The rifle features a side safety, golden single set trigger, cheek-piece, stock sling swivel, factory mounted barrel sling swivel, factory detachable magazine, “Steyr” rubber butt-pad, and ramp mounted front sight. The rear sight has been removed. The scope is a K. Kahles Helia-Super 2.3X – 7X Variable Scope and includes the cover. The optics are crystal clear. The LOP is 13 ¾”. The barrel length is 23 ½”. The overall length is 43 ¼”. The gun is mechanically excellent and functions very smoothly. The bore contains excellent rifling throughout with sharp grooves and lands. The stock has various handling marks throughout with a few shallow dents, but is very good to excellent overall. The majority of the checkering is very sharp and mostly in good to excellent condition with a slight thinning present on the forearm. The pistol-grip is rosewood and says “Steyr” underneath. Contains Austrian proof markings. The metal components are nearly excellent with a bit of speckled faded bluing on the right side of the barrel that extends for 4” and some fading on the triggerguard and bolt face from normal use. The stock is in 95%+ condition overall. The metal components are in 97%+ condition overall. The rifle is in 96%+ condition overall.
