Germany First?/Second Prizm Sniper rifle scope Model GZ Nr.2309 Carl Zeiss/Jena 2X magnification with claw mounts set made between 1900-1905 was used with sniper rifle Gewehr 98 and different type sporting or hunting rifle including drilling and shotguns with big bore caliber. Collector piece,because in the very good working condition of the body(missing paint on one side,etc) and lenses with a clear and sharp view and working elevation adjustment.Missing caps cover lenses.To better effect, I would recommend clean lenses inside. I think (because of mounts type) this scope was on early Mauser rifles or Steyr Mannlicher Model M1895 or 1903 with a rear base for double claw mounts that should be on a rear left side of the receiver. Very Rare on Market. Now only addition one you can see(E-Bay item# 361755441764) Reticle Crosshair Condition: look very good. The lenses clear without scratches, sharp view. Product specifications: Have 2 adjustment - elevation and focusing. Magnification 2x Field of view 65.4 feet at 100 yards Lumonosity 56 Length 267 mm or 10.5 inches Tube diameter not given Weight 18.1 oz or 512 g (together with claw mounts system),without mounts system. should be 14 oz.
