This is a James Reid, Catskill, New York, Knuckle-Duster Revolver Caliber .32 Rimfire. It was made from 1870 to 1882 with a total quantity estimated at 2,900 brass frame models.. It is a five -shot all metal construction, brass frame that is silver plated. Left side of topstrap is marked: MY FRIEND PATD. DEC 26, 1865. Broad scroll engraving standard on frame. The grip is formed with a finger hole so that the pistol can be used as a set of brass knuckles. This revolver is in very good all original condition.
