Quality Consignments Wanted! This shotgun was made by the J. Stevens gun works during World War Two. The serial number is 46927. The shotgunis marked on the left side of the receiver with the U.S. stamp and the "P" with the ordnance flaming bomb. The barrel is also stamped with the "P" and flaming bomb. Also this 20 inch barrel is serial numbered to the frame. The 12 gauge shotgun shows handling, especially on the stock. However, this shotgun does not show ever being fired. The receiver and barrel blue would rate a 98% condition. The magazine tube is mostly patina. The take down feature works smoothly with no difficultly. the toe of the butt plate has a slight chip. The bore is bright and clean. This is a nice military shotgun that would appeal to any military collector. Search for hlvfineguns on google.
