Colt Single Action Army SN21008; shipped to Mississippi on Oct. 22. 22, 1875; factory letter included; the Colt letter states blue finish though the original records do not list type of finish, therefore Colt assumes that the gun was originally blue; their theory is that the dealer had the gun plated when new; I might bye that theory on guns shipped to New York, but I’ll bet Canton, Mississippi had no local gun platers in 1875; of further note, the cal. Marking on the rear trigger guard flat says 45 cal. B. the cylinder has no number, but is 45 Long Colt and simply put, a 45 Long Colt cylinder in gun; in my opinion, the gun left Colt just like it is, except for the fine old Ivory Grips now on the gun; most of what I believe is the original nice finish remains; nice old Ivory Grips; gun has all of the correct early features; italic bbl. address first style ejector housing; bbl. is numbered; cylinder is not; all other numbers match; this is a great 141 year old Colt; EXCELLENT bore; antique, no FFL/C&R required for shipping; All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45-- Spurs $30-- Knives, Swords & Sabers $30 (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
