Description:
Berlin Lubecker Maschinenfabrik (BLM) manufactured pre-war K98 German carbine. Receiver is marked 237 1938 with accompanying e/214 proofed parts (all the way down to the locking screws on the triggerguard), only 90,000 of these were manufactured by BLM in 1938 which makes these one of the less common codes to find. All matching minus the floorplate and follower which are marked “1” for Armourer spares. Finish on both parts match rifle and looks like they have been together for a long time. Stock is numbered internally and externally with the serial number and letter block on the keel, it is not Duffel Cut. Includes an unmarked 10.5” cleaning rod, front site has not been cut for a hood. Rifle has the overall used but not abused appearance, however finding pre-war guns in matching or near matching condition can be difficult. I can provide additional pictures if requested.
