Description:
Winchester Model 21 20 Gauge Side-by-Side
FACTORY 28" M/F, #6 ENGRAVED KUSMIT

General Specs: Winchester, Year 1958, 20 Gauge, 6lbs 11oz, SxS
Serial Number: 31403

Most double gun enthusiasts are well aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21; a gun of far superior strength and mechanical genius that was under the micro management of John Olin himself.  With only 32,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any high condition Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm sure to appreciate as you enjoy its use.   From 1930 to 1980  they only made about 2900 twenty gauge guns in all grades.  Model 21's are fully capable of shooting the most powerful loads available, SO IF YOU LIKE MAGNUM LOADS FOR PHEASANTS, DUCKS, OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, THIS IS YOUR GUN.  The factory order sheet shows this gun, sn31403, shipped in 1958 as a Field Grade 20ga. with 28" M/F barrels and a pistol grip stock.  The gun retains the original factory wood (nice 3X figure from the factory!) and barrels with no alterations to the chokes.  It is hard to find 28" field choked guns that haven't been messed with.  The receiver and trigger guard were engraved and signed by Nick Kusmit, one of the Winchester Custom Shop engravers, after it left the factory.  This is a very beautiful, fully engraved gun, with the engraving done by a Winchester factory engraver.  That really adds a lot of value and desirability to an already fine gun.  Just in time for the fall upland season and always a fun gun to shoot at the gun club as well.  These guns just keep going up in value while you enjoy its use.  This one is priced right!  Thanks for looking!
