Description:
J.E. Gebby was a 1930's gunsmith who was responsible for the development of the 22-250 caliber.  This is one of his rifles in fact it appears to be #644 of the rifles that he built.  The barrell is stamped No 644 then .220 and then J.E. Gebby.  The gun chambers a 220 swift.  The barrel is 26" bore is bright and with strong lands and grooves.  The barrell is drilled and tapped for target blocks.  The action is mounted with a Redfield one piece bridgemount and G.O.I. 3-7 X31 scope on Redfield rings.  The action is fitted into a Fajen sporter stock.
