Charles Edward Sneider was a well known Baltimore Gunmaker catering to Eastern Shore Waterfowl Hunters. This big bore shotgun, tipping the scales at 14 LBS, has massive 36" barrels . The well figured damascus barrels alone weigh 8 LBS 11 3/4 OZ. This shotgun has original condition throughout. Engraving consists of waterfowl scenes and scroll. Gun is tight on face. Locking system is a single underbite on the lump and a rib extension bolting system. Top rib is engraved "Sneider's Patent Baltimore, MD". Back action "wrap around" locks. Sculpted top lever. Top tang safety. Mirror bores with a small amount of corrosion in the front of each chamber. Minimum wall thickness is 45/1000. Ebony buttplate with heel spur. Gun is an antique and can be shipped directly unless local law prohibits. Shipping and insurnace is $100. Stock dimensions follow.
