This antique "Lightning" was made in 1882 and has a 3 1/2 inch barrel without an ejector rod. The first thing you think when you see it is how attractive it is. The combination of the original nickel finish and the period pearl grips really make it stand out. It is in excllent condition. The nickel is bright and shiny and over 90% remains with some small areas of loss. The "COLT D.A. 38" acid etched panel on the barrel is 100% visible, and the period mother of pearl grips fit perfectly and are undamaged. The action works flawlessly and the bore is excellent.
