Remington, C&R ELIGIBLE, bolt action rifle, Model 1903 A3, caliber .30-06, s/n 3887463 (manufacturing date 8/43), 24" barrel, ABSOLUTE SHINY MINT BORE, correct sights,
ACCORDING TO THE MARKINGS ("RA") THIS RIFLE HAS BEEN THROUGH A RARITAN ARSENAL REBUILD., THE STOCK EXHIBITS AN "FJA" (FRANK J. ATWOOD) ORIGINAL REMINGTON INSPECTOR'S PROOF MARK., THE STOCK ALSO RETAINS THE ORIGINAL "P" STOCK PROOF MARK IN A CIRCLE AND A SECOND "P" PROOF MARK IN A SQUARE (INDICATING AN ARSENAL REBUILD) BEHIND THE TRIGGER GUARD., IN ADDITION THE STOCK ALSO HAS SEVERAL OF THE SUB INSPECTION MARKS ON IT IN FRONT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD (SEE PHOTO).,
THE BARREL IS STAMPED ON THE MUZZLE END WITH THE "RA" (REMINGTON ARMS) MARKING, THE FLAMING BOMB WITH A "." IN THE CENTER, AND THE DATE "3/43".
