This Colt Police Positive (Second Issue) is fitted with a 4 inch barrel, checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions, is blue finished, and built on the square butt frame. It retains about 85-90% of its original blue finish, with thinning on the sharp/high edges on the frame and cylinder, due to holster wear, and some spotting on the frame, behind the cylinder. The checkering on the grips is worn smooth in spots but they fit well, are sound and have no cracks or chips. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, the action is smooth and it locks up tight.
