Presented for sale, you will find a M1 Garand rifle chambered in 30 Government (30-06). This piece of history was made by Harrington $ Richardson in 1955.
This rifle is handsome and ready to go. It has character marks; however, the action and bore are excellent. This is a very nice specimen The images will describe this grand old battle rifle more than me. General Patton called this a major game changer in WWII.
If you count Nazis, Japs and North Korans, the M1 Grand has probably killed more animals that any rifle every built. If not, it sure did its job well.
