Enfield No.4 MKI Cutaway .303 British caliber rifle. Scarce Enfield Cutaway for armorer demonstration purpose. Work done at Enfield Lock (a North London suburb). These are non-firing. Deactivated Cutaways with drilled barrels. Red painted areas call attention to the cuts. Very good condition. Finish is baked on black enamel. Note: left side of the receiver is marked SKN 1983 for “skeleton”, a British designation for Cutaways.
