Early first Model 1873 Winchester rifle in .44-40. 3 digit serial number. Dust cover has early checkered oval thumb rest. Factory set trigger. Rear sight is a later replacement. Bore is very good with strong rifling and pitting. Wood is good with saddle wear on the left side of the forearm. Metal has a brown gray patina. A sought after early model 1873!
