*** SOLD *** Beautiful and great handling 12 gauge Emile Warnant sidelock ejector ideal for upland game and live pigeons. A 7-pin sidelock ejector with hidden third fastener, double triggers with articulated front, and 28-1/2” Siemen Martin steel barrels choked Modified and Full and chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges. It has a raised solid crosshatched rib to reduce glare and disc-set strikers with retaining screws. Lightly engraved with deeply chiseled sculpted fences. Action finished in the classic "funeral" style. Tight and on face. There is some thinning of the bluing on the barrels. *** Stocked in figured European walnut in straight grip and splinter forearm configuration. Checkering shows some wear and there are several handling marks on the stock. Stock dimensions are 15-1/4” over a 5/8” recoil pad by 1-3/8” by 2”. Cast off for the right hand shooter. There is a professionally installed one-inch wood extension that has been expertly figured to match the stock. *** The seven-pin sidelock action shows some bluing wear as do the barrels. The bores are bright and the gun is extremely well balanced. Weight is 7lb 2oz making it light enough to carry all day and heavy enough to comfortably absorb recoil. *** This high quality sidelock was made in the 1920’s by one of the more sought after Belgian “guild” makers, Emile Warnant. His “EW” signature topped by a star can be seen in the photo of the water table. A lot of gun for the money! *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance and related charges.
