Colt 1851 Navy First Model. .36 caliber, 6 shot, 7 1/2" octagon barrel. Serial number 1241. First model was serial number 1-1250. All serial numbers matching. A little bit of original case hardening visible, see photos. Cylinder scene of Texas Navy Battle with Mexico, still quite visible, see photos. One piece walnut finished grips, worn with age. Cylinder ringed. Small piece of metal chipped where frame and barrel meet on bottom by serial numbers (see photo). Brass square back trigger guard. Barrel marked, "ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW YORK US AMERICA". Overall in great condition. Cylinder rotates and locks, half cock works as it should. $50 shipping, with insurance.
