Personal Check with hold Description: This is a very nice Antique Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Revolver. It is in .44 Russian caliber. Has a 6" strong rifled barrel with black powder pitting. Has all matching numbers #29314. Butt of frame has a "Star" preceding it, that indicates it was returned to factory, for some reason. It is marked "8*16" on frame under left panel. I believe it was returned in August of 1916. Numbers on "Latch", and back of cylinder, also match. Manufactured 1881-1898 era. Six shot Double action, blue finish, case colored hammer and trigger. Black composite logo grips. Right panel has repair at bottom. Retains approx. 60% to 70% of the original Factory High polish blue . Perfect Strong barrel legends! The cylinder retains a brillant blue in flutes. Has some light tool marks on cylinder. Action is perfect! Strong and works in DA and SA. Buyer pays $35.00 shipping to lower 48 states..
