Here is s genuinely rare collectable that was a legend in its own right. The mighty Bullard lever action western big bore rifle. It is made like NO OTHER SUCH RIFLE ON EARTH. It is arguable the smoothest lever action ever produced and the quality and precision that will rival the finest Winchester. If it had had the dealer network that Winchester did – it would have been a real challenge to Winchester. These guns in the big calibers like 45 – 70 are nearly impossible to find today. For those discrimination collectors who already KNOW what I am talking about – I am preaching to the choir. This big rifle is in the desirable 45-70 and has the scarce half round barrel. Bore is fine bright and crisp. The furniture is standard fare but in excellent condition. Much of the original blue finish remains. Has long range ladder rear sight. The photos tell the story. I have only seen one other model in this good of condition in the past ten -12 years. It was HANDS DOWN the finest engineering of its time. Its unique rack and pinion action makes the Winchester 76s and 86s look like ‘Flintstone’ creations Time for it to go to a new home from my collection – $4900 – no trades no offers please.
