SUPERIOR EARLY PRE WW1 COLT U.S. MODEL 1911 SEMI-AUTO .45 ACP PISTOL CA. 1914. All matching (66,xxx range) and original with exception of early Springfield replacement barrel and bushing with barrel toggle proofed "S" and “P”(commonly replaced by arsenals after WWI). 80% plus original military blue(beginning to fade to plum) and excellent original grips with period of use wear. Slide with early style address and patent date format. Original early military magazine with lanyard loop. Perfect working order and excellent, bright bore. Factory records indicate it was shipped from Colt March 18, 1914.
