Originally built for Count Heinrich Caspar Sierstorpff whose family were major land holders in Driburg, Westphalen, Germany. Built by Austria’s finest rifle & shotgun manufacturer Johann Springer of Wein (Vienna). In it’s original case, with both in near flawless condition, the sideplates, bolstered action body, fences and side clips are 100% covered in bold scrolls and florals. Areas of vivid CC with the balance turning dark. Toplever action with hidden 3rd fastener, tang safety, set trigger, approx 25” barrels with mint bores and 99+% blue in the classic 7x57R caliber. Raised machine matted rib with claw bases, a single standing rear and ramp front sights. The original K. Kahles, Mignon 2 1/2 power scope with german style reticle is crystal clear. The highly figured dark circassian walnut and checkering are also in beautiful condition.
