We have on consignment a very rare set of 3 Marlin Rifles, circa 1995. They are a Model 1894, an 1895, and an 1897 Century Limited Edition Employee Edition Rifles. There were only to be 100 sets offered. If you bought the first one you qualified for the same number in the second one, and so on. Only senior employees were allowed to purchase these guns. The first one, the model 1894 had 98 takers, then less with the model 95, and even less with the model 97. These are all serial number 48. Nobody knows how many of each were actually sold (with the exception of 98 for the model 94) but it was quite rare for the set of 3 to be purchased by the same person - and so the same serial number. Purchase was restricted to existing employees. Single guns appear from time to time but an employee edition set is quite rare. These guns are new and unfired in their original boxes with all paperwork, etc. As far as I know these are the only set of 3 with the same serial number to be offered for sale in recent years.
