Description:
A very nice, early Colt "New Service" Model, this gun was manufactured in 1906 and still retains most all of its original fire blue finish. It is chambered for the flat shooting .38/40 Winchester cartridge and has a 7 1/2 inch barrle and fleur-del-lis syle checkered walnut grips. The action is excellent, locks up very tight and functions smoothly, and the bore is good. It is very difiicult to find these early "New Service's" with the high polish blue finish still intact and with very little wear.
