The barrel is in minty condition. This pistol does show some very light use and being fired. The original military refinish would rate a 99% overall condition. The original grips show no wear or diamond point loss. Has a original correct "S" coded magazine. This is a extremely fine condition Remington Rand military 1911-A1! as professionally arsenal? redone. The quality of the work is very evident and would fool many collectors as to being original finish. Remington Rands were noted for their high quality produced pistols.
