Description: Serial #BH19377, .303 British, 25” barrel with a very good-fine bore that has freckling within the grooves at the muzzle. This Fazakerly-made, “FTR” (“Factory Thorough Repair”) stamped rifle has retained about 85-90% of an arsenal Suncorite finish that has some silvering at the muzzle and along the exposed projections and high points where the finish has worn through. The matching numbered bolt has a bright gray body with fading and some minor flaking on the handle, while the Mk. 3 stamped aperture rear sight also has a few small spots of freckling. There is no import mark present. The handguards and matching numbered forend have an overall dark brown finish with numerous small handling marks and blemishes throughout, while the buttstock, which matches the condition of the rest of the wood, has a large “BLR” (“Beyond Local Repair”) stamp on the top of the wrist. A large Arabic rack number is painted in white on the left side of the butt (“147”). A matching numbered magazine is included, and a gray-green canvassling is installed. This is a nice, arsenal refurbished No. 4, and rates very good plus condition overall.
