Colt Single Action Army Revolver Model 1873 Frontier 44 cal. 16-14
Colt Single Action Army Revolver, 44 cal. model 1873 Frontier, antique serial# 176074, made Pre-1898, (see Flayderman p.101) 7-1/2” bbl, blue finish, standard markings one line address, “COLTS PT F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD CT. USA”. And has “Colt Frontier Six Shooter” on left side BBL.This revolver was made to be a companion piece to the 1873 Winchester in 44-40 caliber. Bore is very shiny and has 70% + rifling, mechanics very good, locks up properly, very little movement, numbers match on frame backstrap, triggerguard. Metal clean, dark blue patina finish, on barrel & cylinder, case colors somewhat silvered, little corrosion on barrel, a very good/fine colt, with a good bore. Do not need FFL or C&R., because antique, pre-1898, ships directly to you; very good overall. (16-14) $3,950.00
